The family who own and manage this place are wonderfully hospitable and take such generous care of the property and their guests. Our clean, comfortable room faced the water, with lovely still mornings and spectacular sunsets. Kayaks and paddle boards, a heated pool, and delicious breakfasts are all included. The setting is a secluded cove right on the water, peaceful and spectacularly beautiful, yet only a 10 minute drive from Boothbay Harbor. We’re already looking forward to another visit.

We’ve been coming here for four years, and it’s one of our favorite hotels. It’s right by the water, the rooms are clean, and the staff provide excellent service. The restaurant food is always great quality. Cash is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond for guests, and the whole staff genuinely cares about making the visit a good one. We had a wonderful time here as a family and absolutely recommend it.

We’ll definitely come back. The rooms are beautiful, the amenities are fabulous, and the restaurant served the best food I’ve ever had. The staff were helpful and clearly take pride in the place. It’s an outstanding spot for anyone looking for the peace and quiet of an oceanfront hotel, and I highly recommend it.

The all you can eat breakfast is included in the room rate, and it was top notch. Even though I’m gluten free, there was plenty I could eat. I usually went for scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon, and fruit. The pancakes, French toast, pastries, and bagels all looked delicious too. smuggler's cove has beautiful views and friendly staff, and I highly recommend checking it out when you’re in Booth Bay. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
