At $85, the room wasn't worth it. There was a $5 charge for paying by debit or credit card, and the room was old, filthy, and smelled like mold. The furniture didn't match and looked like it dated from the 1970s. The bedding was clean, but very old. I checked for bedbugs and didn't find any. From the road it looked like a nice little motel. At check-in the manager said the room was open and asked if I planned to go out, since there was no door key. I didn't need to go anywhere, but I left well before checkout and couldn't return a key to the office anyway. I won't be back. With major renovations, this could be a nice spot.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the northview for two nights. The room was spacious and the staff were friendly, but the price seemed a bit high compared with other options. I'd stay again in a pinch. Someone knocked at 11:30 p.m. asking for money and drugs, which was really disturbing.

It's pretty small and the furniture is dated, but the low price makes it not too bad. There's a fridge, a kitchen table with four chairs, and a full bath and shower.
