The staff were friendly, and the room was big, with a clean, comfortable bed and strong AC. It was quiet, too, though a couple of miles out of town. The price was the lowest I found nearby, and the satellite TV seemed to have everything. There was coffee, but no continental breakfast. Supplies were skimpy: barely any soap, tiny towels, and one-ply toilet paper. I’d stayed in the metroplex for the same price without those issues, and that place had a very good breakfast. At $45-50, I’d rate this five stars, but $69 feels high for what you get.

I wish I could book and pay online before getting there. The place is older, but it’s been kept up and has recent style and amenity updates. Everything was clean and worked fine, so I wouldn’t worry about staying here. My one gripe is that coffee isn’t available in the room. You have to wait until 5:30 a.m. and get it from the front office. Blue and pink instead of sugar. Recommend!

The King room was huge and very clean, with a big bed, mini fridge, and microwave. For the price, it was amazing. They have free coffee in the office until 10 a.m., and the service was quick, friendly, and efficient. We’ll book ahead next year when we visit our family in Borger from North Carolina.

I was going to stay at an econo lodge in dumas, but the reviews here looked better. The bed was nice, and the front desk guy was friendly. Still, I could hear snoring through the thin walls for much of the night, and the toilet handle needed a jiggle or it would run all night. I’d have felt okay paying $50, but it cost $75.
