Bright Seaport Suites by Sonder

This is about Unit 158 from Sonder only, not the building or the other units. It’s a poor choice for a business trip. There’s nowhere to work comfortably: no desk, and the kitchen stools weren’t suitable either. The kitchen and living room were no use to me. At night, the curtains were too small and the blinds let in light from the lobby and courtyard. The upstairs tenant’s footsteps came through clearly, and when it rained, dripping from the downspout outside the bedroom was loud because this is a ground-floor unit. The biggest problem was sleep. Logan flights started around 5:45am, then planes took off loudly every five minutes for about an hour. I’ve stayed at the aloft and element on D street, less than 0.3 miles away and closer to the airport, without this issue. There also aren’t many nearby restaurants within walking distance. The 24-hour gym and yoga room were nice, the staff were helpful, Starbucks coffee was available in the lounge, and the area’s location was good. Still, I wouldn’t recommend it to coworkers or other business travelers looking for a short stay and a decent night’s sleep.
