We were in town for our adult son's birthday and booked two adjoining rooms. They were spotless, luxurious, and nicely appointed, and we felt looked after the whole time. The staff even left birthday wishes for my son, with thoughtful handwritten notes on everything. There were water bottles by the beds and treats brought to our room while we were out at dinner. The service was extraordinary. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a top tier stay with a little pampering, and we'd love to return.

The Butler concept had me wondering at first, but JD made it a highlight. He greeted me personally and took the time to make the introduction feel like being hosted, not just shown around. As a solo traveler, I appreciated service that felt thoughtful rather than performative. The staff stayed warm and attentive through the day without hovering, which made me comfortable in my beautifully appointed suite. It even led to an unexpected, lovely time meeting other guests and sharing champagne before I met friends later that evening. The 17th-floor check-in felt like arriving at someone's home. From the circular staircase and mural painted walls to the beautiful fabrics, houndstooth sofa in the reading room, long bar with sweeping views, and green velvet couches, it all felt intentional. I had lunch and Prosecco there while taking it in, and it felt effortless and elegant. The speakeasy is a very cool spot. I'll have to try the main restaurant next time. I've traveled all over the world, and Raffles Boston gave me a level of care I rarely experience. World class service really does make a great hotel, and Raffles Boston sets a new standard.

We still enjoyed our anniversary stay and the staff were prompt, professional, and warm. The property is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, and requests were handled quickly. I'd go again, though I'd think hard about the price. Some of the finer touches let the experience down for what we paid. The toilet paper was surprisingly basic, and the robes and slippers weren't as soft or plush as I'd expect at this level. The spa was lovely, but its signature shower wasn't working during our visit. We'd also arranged for champagne and a charcuterie board to be ready when we arrived as an anniversary surprise, but it wasn't prepared in time and that took away from a special moment. We expected a truly elevated, detail driven luxury stay, and the traditional Raffles style butler experience we anticipated never materialized. Service was responsive, but didn't have the proactive, anticipatory feel associated with the brand. The small oversights added up and diluted what should have been seamless, especially at this premium price and with the expectations that come with the Raffles name. With more attention to those details, the property could really excel.

We didn't even have a reservation, but every staff member went out of their way to treat us like family. The facilities were top notch, and it was hard to leave. Truly one of the best luxury city hotels in the world.

The spa and pool were spotless, warm, peaceful, and felt like a zen retreat. We loved all three nights at Raffles, and the staff made us feel like friends throughout our stay. They greeted us by name every time we saw them. We can't wait to return. Breakfast at the Long Bar was perfect each morning, with fresh, excellent quality food and lots of gluten free choices for me. Beckett and Kim were the sweetest servers, and we looked forward to seeing them. The Butler team was so accommodating, and the nightly turn down service was lovely. Alyssa from reservations made the booking and check-in seamless, going out of her way to match our room and floor preferences. Our room was ready early as we'd requested, and every detail was well appointed. It was pristine and didn't smell of harsh cleaning chemicals, which I really appreciated as I'm very sensitive to smells. From arrival, we were welcomed with smiles, pleasantries, and the utmost respect. We also ran into Lauren Soriano, Director of PR, in the elevator. She was kind and later brought a thoughtful note to our room. It's a great location for walking and shopping around Newbury, Copley, Prudential, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and the South End. Can't recommend it enough.
