Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Seattle-Bothell, WA

We chose this place for a weekend near the Woodinville Wine Warehouse district, just off 522. The grounds and inner courtyard are pretty and well kept, though it was winter so we didn’t spend time outside. Our room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and worked fine, if a little cramped. The staff were friendly and professional. I’d happily return and recommend it to families, couples, solo travelers, or anyone else.

The place felt calm and well maintained, with a comfortable lobby and free breakfast adding some extra value. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Check-in was easy. It seems like a dependable option for either a family trip or business travel. A few small updates would improve it, but I had an enjoyable stay.

We booked an upstairs room for two nights and asked for somewhere quiet. The employee promised one, but in Room 207 we heard several bursts of loud, vibrating noise in the evening, each lasting about 5-10 seconds. It sounded like a huge air compressor. We were too tired to ask to move then. Around 5:30 am, the same noise woke us again and went on for about two minutes. When I called the desk, the woman said it was the HVAC, so this seems to be a known issue. She offered another room, but only after we packed everything and went down to the front desk, which wasn’t convenient while we were tired and sleepy. The new room was across the building and didn’t have those loud bursts, but the constant HVAC noise still made it hard to sleep. Later I read another review mentioning the loud noise a month earlier.

Three weeks before my stay, I booked through a third party. At check-in, the desk told us the reservation was there but had a payment problem, so I had to pay the regular rate instead of the discounted third-party price. I wish the hotel had told us sooner, while we still had time to choose somewhere else. I had a bad experience, so be careful booking here through a third party.
