Lake Mead Inn

We met friends in Vegas and had a much better time staying here than on the Strip. The lake views are beautiful, and the room was clean, large, and comfortable, with a lush bed. The bathroom had an enclosed toilet and a separate mirrored counter with a Keurig and complimentary coffee. There was also a microwave, mini fridge/freezer, and patio. The fridge made drinks slushy on the first shelf. I didn't use the freezer, but I'm confident it works. The AC kept the room as cool as I wanted, and there was a TV with DirectTV. Staff were friendly and helpful with nearby attractions and food. Local Chinese food was phenomenal and delivered to our room. Hoover Dam is just a stone's throw away, and down the street there's a park where Desert Big Horned Sheep may come close and graze if you're quiet and patient. The body wash was empty, but I hadn't expected shampoo, conditioner, lotion, or body wash to be provided, so I brought my own and was pleasantly surprised. I'm confident staff would have refilled it if we'd asked. We'll definitely stay again.

We were less than two minutes from historic downtown Boulder City and the Lake Mead Nat’l Rec Area, close to the Hoover Dam, and about 25-30 minutes from downtown Las Vegas. The setting gave us Boulder City's safe, scenic feel, while still being convenient to Las Vegas and Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The hotel was affordable, very clean, and well maintained, with friendly, accessible staff. It also has an excellent handicap accessible room, parking space, and shower. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit Vegas.

We enjoyed the free breakfast after 6 a.m. and liked the hotel overall. It was reasonably priced and close to Hoover dam and lake meade. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the location was easy to find. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. There was an ice maker and washer/dryer on site, though we didn't get to use them. Sorry I wish I'd taken a picture to share, but my iPhone camera was damaged by the time I stayed here.

The two gentlemen who checked us in and out were extremely helpful and super nice. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a microwave and mini fridge. The free breakfast had coffee or tea, packaged oatmeal, muffins and danishes, yogurt, and fruit. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but both looked very clean. The Inn is close to Boulder City, with its cute little shops and restaurants, and is convenient for visits to Hoover Dam, Vegas, and Lake Mead. We planned to stay one night, but ended up staying two and were very pleased.
