Masood's Lodge

We booked three nights at Masoods Lodge in Boulder Creek, but left after just one. The place felt misrepresented and, in its current state, not fit to stay in. The worst part was that our dog got infested with fleas during the visit, which became a health concern and made us leave early. The cabin was dirty inside: cobwebs throughout, ants in the kitchen, grimy dish drawers, and an unclean toilet when we arrived. The comforter had a large visible stain. Outside, the furniture cushions were piled up, torn, and unusable. Even the shared lounge area couldn't be used, with old microwaves on a table and a refrigerator lying on its side. The property looked neglected, with debris, tires, maintenance items, and trash scattered around, more like a junkyard than lodging. At our unit, a spatula and an old shirt were draped over the BBQ. This stay was extremely disappointing and fell short of basic cleanliness and hospitality.

Ashleigh made my facial such a relaxing self-care experience. She was gentle and really knowledgeable, and I left with my skin glowing. I had an amazing time, highly recommend.

The cabin was too cold because the heating wasn't adequate, and the towels were nasty. We asked Masood for fireplace wood, but he said his was wet and told us to buy our own. He said the same thing last year when we asked. He was also rude to my wife. We used to enjoy staying here when it was the Merry Brook Lodge, but this place has gone way downhill. We won't be back.

We had a great stay in these nice little cabins in the woods beside a river. The staff were friendly.
