The weather turned bad on our second night, so we decided to head home early. The owner offered to refund that night's room even though I hadn't asked, which was really kind. Junior also offered to carry our bags inside. A very nice family runs the place, and we felt well looked after.

Our snowmobile club brought more than 20 people for a long weekend, and there was plenty of room to park our trailers. Gas is right across the street, and the lobby has a comfortable place to sit. The rooms were cozy and very clean, and the owners on site were nice.

The personal attention from the owners really stood out, it’s the kind of service you rarely find these days. Our family has known the Boulder Junction area for decades, but this was our first stay at the Boulder Bear Motor Lodge. We had a lovely time, especially with the snowmobile trails so conveniently close.

Sam and his family were so friendly, they even knew our names. The place felt clean, welcoming, and like home when we stayed a few months ago. We’ll definitely come back, and I’d recommend staying here.

We were really impressed and are already looking forward to coming back in early fall. The rooms are large, comfy, and fully updated, with quiet heating and cooling and a mini fridge. The motel is clean, peaceful, and family run, with the owners right there. Sam and his family keep the place in great shape. There’s a little wine and beer bar on site, plus a breakfast bar in the morning. It’s on the trails and close to everything, while still being a short drive from Minocqua and away from its crowds. Parking is plentiful and feels safe for boats, snowmobiles, and e-bikes, with new charging spots being installed. Brad & Linda
