The staff made the stay feel so welcoming. Jon was on in the morning, made great coffee, and suggested a breakfast spot that was a hit. Later, Melina and Kyra were warm and attentive. Melina pointed us to the margarita on tap and the s’mores, and both were delicious. The location was super convenient too, with CU’s campus, Folsom Field, and Pearl Street an easy walk away. Basecamp Boulder was amazing from start to finish, and I can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I came here to get married, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were so friendly, and Kyra was just amazing. We had fun playing Jenga, Uno, table tennis, and the couples game in the rec room, then enjoyed drinks by the fire and made s’mores. I spotted a hot tub, a rock climbing wall, and a movie night poster too. There’s plenty to do here. I also loved having a cooler in the room that we could take along with us. Love, love.

We brought a large group here for a work conference, and the venue and atmosphere were really well received. Jon went above and beyond to help with everything we needed, and Kira was wonderfully hospitable. We loved our stay at Basecamp Boulder and hope to return one day.

The lobby is new, with lots of shared space for a small group. The bar has reasonably priced drinks, including $6 beers and wine at happy hour, and the outdoor porch with firepits is lovely. There’s also a climbing wall, game room, large hot tub, and sauna. The gym is on the small side for this type of hotel, but it has two Pelotons, free weights, and mats. Breakfast options are limited, with items like oatmeal packets and Jimmy Dean sandwiches for sale, though there are good coffee shops within a 10-minute walk or about a 3-minute drive. For lunch, Little Lama Cafe on the Narpoa University campus is great if you’re a foodie, the lamb curry was delicious. Snarfburger next door is there if you’re after something heavier. I stayed three nights and liked that it didn’t feel like a cookie-cutter mid-tier chain. The price was on the lower end for Boulder hotels, and the location works well without a car: about half a mile from the bus terminal, walkable to downtown, and a B Cycle station about a minute away. Boulder Creek trail is a block behind. The staff were great, especially John, who was friendly and helped with local ideas. The room was a good size, the bed super comfortable, and the in-room pour-over coffee was probably the best I’ve had at a hotel, even after hundreds of stays. The towels were fluffy, too. Light sleepers should ask for a second-floor room, since noise carries through to the first floor. Shower pressure was a bit weak and the showerhead low. I’d absolutely stay again for the distinctive feel, great staff, solid location, and good value.

The friendly staff gave me great local recommendations, and Pearl Street was about a 15-minute walk away. I loved the comfortable, clean room and the whole vibe. There’s a hot tub, a game room with a climbing wall, and a lobby bar where you can get a beer in the evening or a great latte in the morning. I had a fantastic time at Basecamp Boulder. It was just what I wanted.
