The room looked cute, but there were only two usable outlets. The others were broken or taken up by appliances that we were also paying to use. The TV wasn't working, and the bathroom ceiling leaked. When someone came to fix it at 8am, they had to pull chunks of drywall from the ceiling panel. The door also only closed if slammed, and soda from the vending machine cost $3 a can. When I called about these problems, I was told nothing could be done. No discount, no room change, just a promise the TV would work after I'd left. The repair also meant I had to wake up early. It's a safe and mostly quiet place if those maintenance problems don't bother you.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay at Twin Lakes Inn in Boulder. Check-in was easy and the staff made me feel welcome. It was quiet overnight, too. Good value, and I'd gladly stay again.

A snowstorm disrupted my plans after I'd booked a stay through ReservationDesk.com. I tried to move the reservation back by one week, but they said that wasn't possible, leaving cancellation as my only option. Since it was non-refundable, I'd lose the money. I've gone back to booking with a hotel that lets me change a reservation without taking a loss. Before that, this seemed like a very good place to stay.

Our room had plenty of space to keep our bikes while we were out. The staff were friendly and pointed us to an app for finding local bike trails. The room and common areas were clean and well cared for. It's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, right along a nice walking path. We'd stay again if we're back in Boulder.

The rooms are spotless and nice, and the hotel feels safe and peaceful. It's tucked into a cute neighborhood with a playground, walking paths, open spaces, and Avery Brewing just around the corner. The young couple who own the place have put so much care into renovating it, and you can really see that. I highly recommend staying here!
