The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make my family and me comfortable. It was a great stay from beginning to end, and I’d absolutely come back. Highly recommend.

There’s plenty of room in the rooms, and breakfast is good. Once when I went down very early, the orange juice was mostly water and almost gone. I don’t think it had been refilled from the day before. I’ve stayed here other times when that wasn’t a problem, though.

Everyone was friendly and made sure guests were comfortable during the snowstorm. The hotel even served lunch and dinner, which they really didn’t have to do. I believe the manager was named Shendora, and she helped with my concerns about not being able to get food because of the storm. I really enjoyed my stay.

The rooms were absolutely clean, with soft, clean towels, a working AC and TV, and the other in-room amenities all working fine. I liked having a couch, and the housekeepers clearly take pride in their work, which I really appreciated. At least on the 3rd floor, the room itself was solid. The common areas told a different story. The lobby smelled strongly of sewage, fecal matter, and old trash for much of my two-day stay. It seemed to come from the service kitchen, and although it eased after the first night, it was still noticeable at breakfast. Staff tried to mask it, but several seemed annoyed when I asked. One team member said it was an ongoing problem nobody had addressed, and that management “claimed” the nearby swamp was the source. Given how localized the smell was around the kitchen, that seemed pretty impossible. There were also some homeless people hanging out in the lobby all day. They were harmless and respectful. The smell was too off-putting for me to want to return, especially with the apparent ongoing issues. Safety may be a concern, depending on your perspective and plans.
