Best Western Plus Bowling Green

The breakfast was good, and the desk clerk was really friendly and helpful. The beds were worn, but clean and comfortable. The toilet and tub were clean too, but the bathroom floor was disgustingly dirty. I wiped it with a wet washcloth and it came up black. The room hadn't been vacuumed either, though the rest of it was decent, so maybe they just missed those spots. It's an old hotel with worn furniture, and the shower handle didn't work. It was cheap for a quick stay.

We turned up without a reservation while Bowling Green had something going on and most hotels were full. This place checked its occupancy and found a room for us. It was clean and well organized. Thanks, we'll stay there again.

Breakfast had eggs and toppings, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, waffles, yogurt, and pastries. The rooms and hallways have been updated, and the price was great. I'd stay here again on my next trip. The room loses a star for peeling paint on the door trim and the safety bar's cover ring hanging off in the shower.

We usually book Hampton when we're in the area a couple times a year, but chose this hotel to stay within budget and were glad we did. The price was fantastic. Our room and all the common areas were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good with the attendants keeping everything stocked.
