Candlewood Suites Bowling Green by IHG

After a long road trip, I mistakenly checked into the wrong hotel even though my reservation was somewhere else. Stephanie was so accommodating and went out of her way to help us turn the mix-up into one of the most pleasant stays I've had anywhere. The whole staff was friendly, and the hotel was exceptionally clean, almost too clean lol. Bad weather unexpectedly kept us in bowling green longer, so after such a great first night we stayed another night at Candlewood. Great value, clean rooms, and really wonderful service. Thank you!!

On a business trip booked through CLC, I was put in a handicap accessible room, which felt awkward since I didn't need it. The shower gave me trouble, and there wasn't much counter space in the bathroom. Otherwise it was clean and adequate. I've stayed here on personal trips without any problems and would come back.

You can't beat this motel. The place is well cared for, with clean rooms, a great atmosphere, and good service. I'd recommend it to anybody.

I mostly wanted ice for my water, but the only ice machine was out. The very kind desk person said he'd fix it, yet it was still down in the morning. Aside from that, everything about this place was good, and I want to save it for future road trips. It's a cute, clean little hotel just off the highway. The mattresses looked new, though the protector is a fitted sheet rather than a zip-on cover. A few chairs in our room were torn and need reupholstering or replacing, but we only needed somewhere to crash. There's coffee 24/7, and rooms have full fridges and stoves if you need them. We slept great. The price was reasonable, and I could have found a cheaper place nearby, but booking was easy as an ihg member. Bedding is usually consistent at these hotels, and it's the first thing I check. Nobody wants bugs or a bad mattress.
