The Boxboro Regency

The convention space was easy to use. Walkways flowed well, finding rooms was simple, and there was enough room for hotel guests and comic con attendees to move around comfortably. The Boxboro Regency handled the event really well. I wasn’t a hotel guest, though the rooms looked nice and people seemed to be enjoying the pool and common areas. The hotel itself has a beautiful, intuitive layout, with intriguing décor, including plants, stones, and carpeting. The indoor pool was well kept and had a locked gate to keep kids from wandering in accidentally. Parking was plentiful, clean, and well lit. I’d guess a stay here would be just as pleasant.

The bed was hard as a rock, and the sofa sitting in front of the A/C made it difficult to feel the air. There was a refrigerator but no microwave, so don’t bring food that needs heating. The curtains wouldn’t close all the way, although luckily my room faced the woods. Getting to the room was a hassle since it was as far from the elevator as possible. As far as I could tell, the only other route was through the banquet facility, whether or not an event was happening. Check-in was easy and the staff were very helpful, but the wallpaper was peeling in both the room and hallway. In the hall, painter’s tape seemed to be holding it up. I won’t stay here again.

Miss. Meghan is one of the best bartenders I’ve met anywhere. She’s kind and good tempered, just a special person. People like her make a difference. I’m very satisfied with the hotel too. It’s in a really quiet neighborhood, and the room was clean and cozy. There’s a bar and restaurant on site. I only wish I’d had more time there, but my flight back to Brazil was early in the morning.

I felt dirty and uncomfortable in this place, and I’d never stay here again. The bed was so soft it left me feeling very hot. In the room and hallways, the drywall was crumbling and held together with some kind of green tape that was peeling off too. The sofa was stained and looked about 40 years old. The air conditioner was covered in mold, and it blew straight at the side of the sofa, so it barely cooled the room. I was there for an event.
