Budget Host Mel-Dor Motel

The building was solid, and we didn't hear noise from anywhere during our stay. But the room smelled, was run-down, and had roaches. Management should be ashamed. This is exactly the kind of place that explains the reputation these people have. I don't understand why zero stars isn't an option, because this place deserves none.

We arrived around 9 pm and the staff were really nice and helpful. The room was at the back, so it was quiet, and everything was very clean: beds, towels, and bathroom. The motel is older, with dated rooms, but it has a quaint feel. We stayed for one night and would definitely stop again. Great value and extremely clean!

I called before arriving, and they left the front door open so I could check in. The location was great for me since it was close to where I was. The room was clean and nice, with a pleasant smell throughout, not just the scent of cleaning products. I've slept in a lot of motels, and this one was great, especially for a lower-star motel. Five stars from me, and two thumbs up. Thanks to the ladies who were there that night.

There's plenty of parking, and you can leave your vehicle right in front of your room. Pets are welcome, with lots of space around for them to roam and play. The rooms and surroundings were clean, the bathroom was clean, and the bed was well made. There's a microwave and fridge if you want to bring your own food, and the sandwich shop at the nearby gas station is good for a quick bite. A good place to stay for a day or two.
