Water Street Inn

The location worked out so well, close to town and some of our favorite restaurants. We loved staying at 112 Water Street Inn. The view was gorgeous, the furnishings were beautiful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Chris at the front desk was sweet and really helpful. We were so glad we chose Water Street Inn.

From the living room and balcony, there’s a magnificent lake view, set off by the apartment’s serene blue decor. The sandy beach is lovely, and the sunsets are glorious. I could sit and watch the water all day. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. It’s an easy walk into charming Boyne City, with Charleroix and Petoskey a short drive away. We highly recommend The Water Street Inn, especially apt. #208, and are already planning another visit.

We’ve stayed at the Water Street many times over the past five years, mostly when we come north to visit our grandchildren. We like the location and the lake view, and the one-bedroom condos with a king bed are just right for us. Since each unit has a different owner, the decor varies. We prefer the third floor, where you can see the lake from both the living area and bedroom. I think there are also two end units, on the first and second floors, with a little more living room space. The off-season price is a very good value.

We’re coming back! This was our second stay at Water Street Inn, and the condos were spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s a great place for a brief fall color tour. We love walking downtown for dinner, then heading back in the morning for coffee and a bakery. Having a balcony right on Lake Charlevoix is awesome.
