Courtyard by Marriott Boynton Beach

The suite and common spaces were impeccably clean, and the room itself was nicely equipped and laid out. Even so, I can only give this Marriott two stars after my February 2026 stay. The AC froze over and couldn’t hold 72 degrees, the carpet was worn with staples sticking out, WiFi didn’t work, and the elevator shuddered between floors. I also couldn’t see a safety certificate displayed on it. A fire alarm went off overnight for no known reason and interrupted my sleep. Staff seemed inconsistently trained and overwhelmed. Some people gave complimentary bottled water when I extended my stay, while others didn’t. The Florida resident discount was applied inconsistently too. Housekeeping also kept trying to come in even though my “Do Not Disturb” sign was up.

Amelia Rivas, the front desk supervisor, made check-in easy and smooth, and I really enjoyed the whole process. The place was very clean and quiet, with nice amenities. Most of all, the staff were great. I’d highly recommend the location.

The hotel was clean, and it looks newly renovated. I stayed one night. The front desk and bistro staff were great, and the room was clean and fairly quiet, though the walls are thin, especially when neighbors are on speakerphone at 7am. The real problem was the VERY loud AC units in rooms 108 and 433. All night I thought I could hear ice machines in my room, so I didn’t get much sleep. :/

The cleaning crews were everywhere during my two-night stay, keeping the rooms, pool, shared spaces, and other areas clean the whole time. The WiFi was reliable, even while I worked by the pool, so it seems they’ve sorted out the earlier issues. Reception staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the woman at the cafe was exceptional. I’d been put off by the reviews, but it seemed like management had listened and fixed whatever was wrong. My stay was clean, quiet, and relaxing. I’d come back if I get the chance to visit this beautiful part of Florida again.
