TownePlace Suites By Marriott Boynton Beach

The lobby was spotless, and the manager made us feel welcome. After a terrible stay at another Marriott the night before, we walked into TownePlace Suites and could tell we’d get the Marriott experience we expected. Our room was clean, had room to move around, and met our accessibility needs. The beds were really comfortable, and breakfast was delicious.

We’ve stayed at Boynton Beach TownePlace Suites five times now, and it’s been a great choice on every visit. The rooms are clean and well equipped, the facilities are kept clean, and the complimentary breakfast is excellent. Whether we need a studio with one room or a two-room suite, this will be our first choice whenever we’re in the area.

The air conditioning in the main bedroom of suite 133 seemed broken. It was so loud that it woke us and the baby every time it kicked on during the night. I was really disappointed with our stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel again. On our first day, my son nearly sliced his hand open on a metal plate. It’s crazy that nobody had noticed it. I told the desk, and they came and covered it. The pull-out couch was also extremely hard, almost like sleeping on the floor. When I asked the first night for extra blankets, a gentleman brought three. The next day, I told the clerk about the couch, and she asked, “They didn’t bring you a mattress?” She said they’re supposed to offer one for the couch. Why didn’t the woman offer it when I raised the problem Friday evening? My poor kids had to sleep on the hard base.

Miles at the front desk was really nice and showed how customer service should be. The entrance was beautiful and clean, and our room was even better. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was roomy with great pressure. We didn’t use the kitchenette, but it had everything needed to cook for four people, including a dishwasher. I loved the breakfast waffle, though I wasn’t a fan of the other hot choices, scrambled eggs and turkey sausage patty. They did have a really nice range of continental options. It’s close to almost anything you might need, around a 3-5 minute drive, and near I-95. We visit the Boynton area once or twice a year and haven’t found a hotel we liked until now. This is the one, we won’t look further.
