City Center Inn

I’d planned to tell my friends about the city center inn after a pleasant stay. The room was cheap, even though trim was ripped off the walls and dangling, and there were stains on the walls. But then I found $300 missing from my account. They said I’d smoked in the room because there was an empty cigarette pack on the floor. Nobody smoked there. When I called to question the charge, they were extremely rude. They said I’d signed a paper agreeing to a $250 smoking fee and that it was up to their discretion. So where did the extra $50 come from? With that extra amount, they could tell Visa, which has a strict policy about smoking charges because this happens often, that the money wasn’t for smoking. The smoking fee is $250, so it must have been for something else. I was robbed by city center inn.

BED BUGS WARNING, MAY 2015. My fiancé and I were passing through Bozeman and chose City Center Inn after reading about it. It was rated one star, but some of the better reviews convinced us to give it a chance. The staff we dealt with were friendly, though getting a key to someone else’s room was awkward. The pool and rec rooms were impressively large, and our room was comfortable enough that we slept really well. The next day, once we were on the road, we started itching. We found several tiny red spots that hurt and itched badly, and they haven’t stopped. We got bed bugs from the bed. We had planned to stay again on the way home, but when we asked if they could help with what happened, they said it was a known issue and that nobody on the night shift could help. We had to leave early in the morning, so that did us no good. We’ll never stay there again, and I strongly discourage others from going. Now I’m wondering how to get rid of these bugs. Yikes!

I called twice this morning, 9/14/2013, to book a room. Each time it rang for a full minute and nobody picked up. I’m disappointed because they had all the amenities I wanted, but they couldn’t answer the phone.

After apologizing three times on this site, you’d think things would improve. They didn’t.
