The location and pool are nice, and the staff are friendly. But we came here to get some rest, and the beds make that really hard. My brother stayed a couple of weeks ago for work and told us how uncomfortable they were. We brushed him off, and I wish we hadn't. After a night of tossing and turning, I was exhausted all day and already dreading another night. For $180 a night for a basic king room, I expected a better mattress. They're hard and wobbly. I can't see myself staying here again.

I usually skip reviews for chain hotels since you know roughly what to expect, but I'd seen several complaints about the staff's attitude and wanted to share our experience. Everyone we dealt with was kind. Our room wasn't ready by check-in time, even though the app said it would be, but the woman at the front desk was cheerful and got us checked in. After checkout, another woman held our bags while we went to see the town. We missed the 11:58 airport shuttle, then came back and she kindly arranged for it to pick us up anyway, though it normally runs hourly. The driver was funny and friendly too. The room itself was fine, nothing special. People can have off days and seem cold, but everyone working there was sweet to us.

We were glad we ate at the restaurant instead of going out. The steak frites and grilled salmon were both delicious. Staff were attentive, and our room was clean and comfortable.
