TownePlace Suites by Marriott Bozeman

This feels like a scam. After I checked out, they said my room had to be taken out of service because of a smoking smell. Nothing was smoked in the room. The guest services person was insulting on the phone and kept insisting I was wrong. Opening a small 3.5g bag of weed from a dispensary wouldn’t make a room need to be totally fumigated. These hotels have cheap rates, then nickel and dime you, like charging $15 for parking. Extremely bad customer service.

DeeDee and Willow made check-in feel like coming home after a long travel day. They were especially welcoming and friendly, and the staff really set this hotel apart. The property is brand new and spotless, with huge, comfortable rooms, a full kitchen, a modern layout, and lots of workspace. It’s one of the best Marriott properties I’ve stayed at. The location is about 10 minutes from the airport and still close to downtown Bozeman and good food options. The gym is huge and very well equipped, and the pool and hot tub are great at the end of a long day. A fantastic choice for work or leisure. I’ll stay here again on my next Bozeman trip.

I felt safe and comfortable here as a woman traveling alone, and I’d happily live here if I could, lol. This new hotel is even better than I expected, and it’s one of the best Marriott’s I’ve stayed in. The rooms are sparkling clean, the location is perfect, and the customer service is top notch. The staff were amazing. I’ll be back as soon as I can. I’m a very, very, very picky hotel snob, so I can’t understand the negative reviews or why anyone would give this less than five stars. There’s another new Marriott being built in front, but the construction hasn’t been a problem at all. It’s like there’s a bubble around the site and you can’t hear anything. Must be some new technology? lol

The “Mountain View” gets zero stars. They’re building a huge hotel across the parking lot, blocking what used to be a beautiful view, and construction noise starts at 7am. The front desk guys working 5/3 were very kind and helpful, five stars. My room was clean and quiet, though the doors slam really easily. It’s on the very small side, but the design is still sleek.
