Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bradenton-Lakewood Ranch, FL

The rooms were clean, had a decent amount of supplies, and there was plenty of well-lit parking. Around 250 of us arrived within a few hours late in the evening for a huge event in town, and the front desk woman handled it wonderfully. I think her name was Christine. She was cheerful and excited to see us, asked about the event, and accommodated all of us and our unusual requests. She made us feel welcome and comfortable.

We were just passing through and needed a simple place to sleep, with location as our main concern. This turned out to be perfect: convenient, clean rooms, and a nice breakfast. The staff were great, especially Christine, who was wonderful and always went above and beyond. She had a good sense of humor and made us feel welcome. We'll remember her as part of the trip. I wouldn't choose a room by the laundry, though; ours sometimes had an odd smell, and we think that's why. Still, no complaints.

The rooms were fine for our two-night stay at the Country Inn, but what happened with the keys was frightening. Staff gave our room keys to someone we didn’t know, and that person walked in after hours while my daughter and I were undressed. We were in the dark with strangers in the room, and I felt extremely vulnerable. When I called for help, staff said the system was down. They said the GM would contact us, but nobody did. I called again and the morning staff member said they’d pass along the information. Still no call, even after I stopped by the hotel days later. Completely unacceptable.

Breakfast was excellent, and the night receptionist was both welcoming and professional. My kids and I were pleased with our clean, comfortable room, and we had a pleasant stay at Country Inn & Suites. Thank you, Eleonora. I’d recommend this hotel for a dependable, comfortable visit.
