I keep coming back mostly because Dave is so helpful. He handles weekend breakfast, cleans rooms during the week, and goes out of his way for guests. Melissa works hard to keep the rooms and hotel clean, too. Still, I'm not sure we'll return. Ownership has changed over the years, and the place seems to be going downhill. The beds feel like sleeping on rocks. I've been more comfortable on a floor, though the rooms themselves are very clean. They used to have lemon water and coffee all day, plus a decent hot breakfast, and still advertise that under Choice. Hot breakfast is now only on weekends, and it's still good then. This morning, though, there was stale cereal, bread for toast, mini muffins, awful frozen boiled eggs, and waffles you could make. The tables weren't being wiped, Dave wasn't there, and at no point during the night could we find anyone at the front desk. The property looks run down. The bench out front needs replacing, some fascia is falling off, and orange cones mark sunken asphalt around the sewer drains in the parking lot. I'm torn on the rating, which is why I'm giving it a 3.

The rooms were super clean and the staff were amazing. Breakfast is free, with a Belgian waffle maker plus toast, cereal, fruit, mini muffins, yogurt, and apple, orange, and cranberry juice from a fountain. This hotel is way underrated. Weekdays on super.com are usually $56-$57, and weekends $65-$67.

I booked a night through their booking service, and $248 was charged to my Visa, but the motel said there was no reservation and that I'd been scammed. I had to cancel my Visa because of this motel.

I've traveled for business for over 40 years and have never dealt with such rude front desk staff and a manager. I called while comparing prices on Priceline. The man said they had plenty of rooms, but the hotel price was twice Priceline's, so I booked there. I later noticed I'd booked October 26 instead of August 27 and called to cancel, more than a month ahead. The desk guy was rude and claimed cancelling meant they'd have to pay Priceline and lose the money. I tried explaining that's not how it works, and I've traveled for years without trouble over this. I went to the hotel, and the manager said they couldn't cancel and too bad, because they had no cancellation policy. I understand that for a same-day booking, but this was over a month out, and he was rude too. I've never had such a bad experience with both the manager and desk staff. They don't care about guests or business travelers, just greed and hiding behind policies that rob people blind. I stayed at the Holidays Inn Suites instead, which was much nicer. The person there said they cancel Priceline bookings all the time and had handled two that day. I wouldn't give this hotel my business. They're scammers!
