Best Western Plus Bourbonnais Hotel & Suites

The front desk staff were consistently friendly, but the suite I booked was filthy and smelled bad. The couch was stained and sagging, the toilet clearly hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time, and there was brown stuff on the bathroom walls. I hope it wasn't fecal matter. The heater and AC filters looked long overdue for cleaning, and rain came through the windows and into the AC unit, which could be causing mold or mildew inside. This hotel has a lot of potential if someone gives cleanliness the care it needs. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

We won't stay here again. The pool was out of service, which was especially disappointing since we'd been hoping to swim. I was also charged twice by the front desk, and I'm still waiting for the money to go back onto my debit card. The pullout bed had no bedding ready, so I went to the lobby for it and was given sheets only, with no pillows or blankets. The only compensation was a $25 card for the snack room, which was nearly empty. I've never had this kind of problem at another hotel in the area. The staff really need to get things together.

The restaurant was closed, and I wish I'd known before I booked. Still, the rooms were great and the staff were really amazing.

“BEDBUGS” Think carefully before coming here. I say every room is full of bedbugs, and of our 30 workers, 20 have been affected. I have small children, and I'm worried the problems will start once I get home. If anyone knows a lawyer around here, let me know. I want to call and file a class-action lawsuit. Don't come here.
