Thimble Islands Bed & Breakfast

The ocean view at breakfast was lovely, and the food was delicious. I’m still thinking about the crème brûlée French toast. For our anniversary, Julie had suggested places to celebrate when I booked. She and Tony welcomed us with refreshments, showed us our clean, comfortable room, and shared a map and their favorite local spots. We used their suggestions to visit wineries and take a boat cruise. Julie and Tony were friendly, inviting, and helpful innkeepers, and we had a wonderful anniversary weekend at The Thimble Islands Bed and Breakfast. We’ll visit again.

We stayed in the spacious, clean Heron Suite for our anniversary and loved it. Julie and Tony were great, and breakfast was made to order and delicious. The complimentary wine in the evenings was a lovely touch. We walked to the shops and took Thimble Island Tours, and there was also a beautiful, peaceful trail we enjoyed each morning. Great location, and we highly recommend it.

We stayed in the Heron Room, which was roomy and comfortable, with lots of light from windows on two walls and water views. The large bathroom was well-appointed. The house has beautiful, unusual artwork and furnishings, and the grounds include a lovely garden with wonderful views and a quiet, secluded feel. Julie and Tony were gracious, welcoming, and interesting hosts. We enjoyed the late afternoon wine and cheese, then a scrumptious breakfast. Tony’s special omelet was so good I ate every bite, while my husband managed an astonishing number of fluffy, perfectly made pancakes. I only wish we’d been there at the right time to see the sunset.

The views of the Thimble Islands from around the property are amazing. Julie and Tony put so much care into being innkeepers, and their attention to detail really shows. We had such an awesome stay, and we’ll be back. Thanks for opening your home to us.
