Americas Best Value Inn Branson

I've stayed here several times over the past year. The rooms have always been clean, and the staff are consistently nice. During my July visit, the housekeeper even stopped me in the hall to ask if I needed anything. They once upgraded me to a large suite at no charge, which was nice. It's not fancy and can feel a little sketchy, but the clean rooms and kind staff keep me coming back.

We cut our planned two-night stay short because room 107 looked so bad and we had a terrible night of sleep. The outside lights came straight into the room all night, even with the curtains closed, and we woke up with bites. The room reminded me of a prison cell. The electrical outlets were so worn I had to hold my phone charger in place, and the light switch took about four seconds to respond. The staff were great and friendly, but the facility itself was well below par.

No pool, but the rooms are decent for the low price. The beds are really comfortable, and there were no bed bugs or spiders. Towels are tiny, and there aren't any hair dryers.

We booked the wrong dates, and they refused to refund us. They laughed and wouldn't help. Horrible place.
