I canceled just five minutes after booking when I realized unaccompanied minors couldn’t stay, but I still haven’t received a refund. Booking.com opened a case more than 60 days ago and says the hotel hasn’t replied to its refund request. The hotel called on the day of travel to ask if we were coming; we said no and explained we’d canceled already. I called again after 60+ days, and there’s still no resolution in sight. I did what I needed to on my end, so now I have to involve my bank over what should have been a simple refund. We’ve used Booking.com for a long time, and this is our first problem like this. I’m unhappy with the whole transaction and wish the hotel had handled it with more care. It feels like they may keep my money despite my canceling correctly.

The room itself was comfortable and clean, but getting an extra blanket turned into a hassle. Breakfast was another letdown: they ran out, and what came out afterward was cold. The hot tub water looked murky. I won't be back.

I was nervous after reading the reviews, but the stay turned out less bad than I expected. The price was affordable, and although the rooms are dated, everything was in order. I didn’t see the stained sheets or bugs other guests had mentioned. Breakfast was just muffins, bagels, and juice. The pool could be accessed if we called ahead so someone would unlock the door, but it wasn’t simply available. You get what you pay for, lol.

Call first and check the details. We paid an extra $15 compared with another hotel because this one advertised a pool and hot breakfast. We got there at 7 and figured we could swim before dinner, but the employee said the pool hours had changed and it closed at 9 instead of 10. Breakfast was supposed to run from 7-10;30, but we were told it was 8:30-10:00, and it wasn’t hot breakfast. I asked for the price difference since the advertised details weren’t right, but they refused. Really disappointing, and the customer service was terrible.
