It was a quiet RV park right in the middle of Branson. The helicopters overhead were the one downside, flying from around 10 in the morning until about 5.
The manager was really nice and helpful, and the other campers seemed friendly too. We felt safe the whole time, even though the place seemed a little sketchy. The pool was green. It’s a small RV park, so take care pulling in. The price was low compared with other parks, and good for the location.
The manager is very sweet, but I had trouble with the owners. They tried to charge my card twice, though I’d only used it once, and paid me back after I caught it. I’d been hesitant to give them my card, and they put it on file. They insisted I had to pay by card, but I told them I’d paid cash. I left quickly because there were cockroaches, and brushes in the bathroom had lice in them. Then they tried to get a $1,200 electric bill from a preacher who lived there, and he moved out right away.
The pool was full of scum and bugs, and my dog didn’t care for this RV park either. If you’re going to Branson, Missouri, stay somewhere else. The only thing the pictures get right is the ferris wheel you can see from the campground. This place ought to pay guests to stay, and Passport America should be embarrassed to list it. Go to Branson, just don’t stay at Branson RV Park.
It’s clean and quiet, and close to plenty of activities, but the site was uneven and we couldn’t put all four slides out. We were leaning so much that I worried one side wouldn’t come back in. We may have to unhook the tow just to get out. We have a big rig with a tow and four slides, and I told the booking lady our exact size, make and model. She said it would be easy to get in, but didn’t tell me which way to go. Google Maps showed several routes, and we could barely make the turns at the lights. I explained we were only staying one night on the way through, but still feel we were misled. For $50, I’d never treat a customer that way; I would have refunded them. That’s my opinion. I understand they’re improving the park.
