Celebrity Inn

The pool was great, and the hot tub was actually hot, unlike the lukewarm ones at many hotels. Breakfast was a welcome bonus too. I liked the contactless check-in and checkout, and staff checked in by text to see if we were enjoying our stay or needed anything. The location is close to the strip, though it still feels tucked away in the woods. For the price and amenities, I’m giving it four stars, since I know a five-star average is usually reserved for very fancy hotels. The lobby has recently been remodeled, but the rooms could use some updating: the shower curtains were yellow-stained and the tubs needed a deeper scrub. Once they finish adding extra door locks so that someone with the code alone can’t get in, we’ll probably return.

For such an affordable price, I expected a run-down place, but the hotel was beautifully updated and our room was clean and nice. They even provide bathrobes, which I haven’t seen at hotels costing four times as much. The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub were clean and working, unlike several other places I’ve stayed nearby where the pools were dirty or closed. Breakfast was wonderful, the staff were amazing, and check-in was easy. The housekeeper on my side of the building was especially kind. Though clearly busy, she stopped to greet me and have a little polite conversation before returning to work. It’s a little off the beaten path, but easy and quick to reach, and the location was beautiful. A few hours after checkout, they texted to ask how the stay went and what they could improve. I was really impressed, and I’ll definitely stay again.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. I was there with my little grandchildren and asked for an extra chair. They brought it right away, and even brought us another blanket. Thank you for helping make our stay comfortable. There’s forest all around, the air is fresh and lovely, and the main activities are just 5-10 minutes away.

The rooms were really nice and clean, and the price was great. We had a power outage during our stay, though, so we had to go about the day with wet hair in cold weather. The woman preparing breakfast seemed a little grumpy. Even so, it was a great place to stay, and we’ll definitely come back.
