Evergreen Inn

I never stayed here, and after one phone call I don't plan to. I was trying to reach a different hotel and accidentally called the Evergreen Inn. Around 10:25 a.m. on December 26, 2025, I asked politely if they had rooms available. The person who answered said they did. When I said I would need to call back, they replied sarcastically, something like, “Oh, you think you can find better than $67 a night?” It was rude and condescending over a short, simple inquiry. If this is how a potential guest is treated before booking, I can only imagine what a stay would be like. Customer service matters, and based on that call, I'd tell people to spend their money elsewhere.

The sleeping setup was rough. There were no curtains, just a blind, so light came into the room at night and early in the morning. We could also hear people in the parking lot coming and going, especially with our room facing it near the entrance, plus traffic from the busy road out front. The rooms sit very close to the lot, and the spaces are a bit tight. We stayed here last week after visiting Branson. There's no breakfast, and the pool wasn't operating. The furniture is dated. At times the lobby door is locked, so you have to call a staff member. I'd go somewhere else. It wasn't worth the cost or the time.

The location worked really well for us, close to attractions without the noise you get in some other areas. Parking at the front is a little tight, though there are plenty of mostly level spaces in back. It's one of the less expensive options in Branson and, for a similar rate, much better than some other places. Chris at the front desk was wonderful, and our room was clean. The motel has had some updates since the rebranding. We heard the owner is planning renovations over the winter.

We're staying here now, and Chris and Rose at the front desk have been lovely to talk with. They're accommodating and go out of their way to treat guests with the respect and decency everyone deserves. They also won't let people walk all over them, and they'll ask someone to leave if that person is causing problems. Thanks, guys, keep up the good work.
