The resort felt calm and safe day and night, and we had no problems during our five days with our teenagers and dog. The teens had zero complaints, which says a lot. Our only reason for taking off a star was that the cabin and dock could use some attention. Since the resort is older, none of that felt like a major issue or spoiled the stay, and it wouldn't keep us from coming back. We'd recommend checking out Happy Valley Lodge.

House 20 was clean and cozy, and the view from the deck was hard to beat. We spent five nights there and made good use of the pool across the road, the boat dock, and the laundry room. We'll definitely return.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, and they were very accommodating with my family and our dogs. The new owners have also made some lovely cabin improvements. We've been coming to Happy Valley for more than 30 years, and this time we stayed in an A-frame cabin and the Happy Valley Lodge, which used to be the office. Wow, it was beautiful and so clean. I'm glad we can keep making family trips to this place. We'll be back for sure.

The visit was pleasant and really quiet. The cabins could use a refresh, though. They're not off-putting, but they do need some TLC, especially at this price.

Cozy rooms, fresh paint, and new bedding at an affordable price. The owner was super friendly and accommodating, and the grounds keeper was welcoming too. The Doc was great and we loved the pool. The only thing I can fault is the AC, it gets so cold at night no matter where you set the thermostat, lol.
