My husband and I came to Branson for the first time and liked the location. The two women at the front desk were wonderful. That’s where the positives ended, though. The room smelled like marijuana as soon as we walked in. The paperwork I signed said there’d be a $250 charge for that smell, so I told the front desk right away. We turned on the AC and went out for a while, but when we got back the room was still 78. We couldn’t open the window, and the temperature never dropped below 77. The bathroom sink area floor was sticky, and there was a whole portion of eyelashes on the wall. The towels didn’t absorb water after a shower, and the bed was so-so. To the owner: I added a photo of the receipt, so this isn’t a false review. Please take the feedback and fix things instead of getting defensive right away in your responses. If you want to confirm we stayed, ask the front desk person who goes to college in Ames. 😉

Tucked away but still close to everything, this was a cute hidden gem that wasn’t too busy. The staff were friendly and the booking price was good. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely return!

The room had cold AC and the beds were okay. Breakfast had a good selection and was good. The towels were a polyester blend and didn’t absorb well. The room smelled like chalk and smoke. They said it came from the newly installed AC unit, but the unit was covered in thick, old dust, like it had never been cleaned. During our stay, the smoke detector started beeping for a low battery. When someone changed it, we saw it wasn’t connected to the alarm system wires in the ceiling. That worried us because if there were a fire in the building, our detector might not alert us to evacuate.

We spent nearly a week here. The room was great, though it could use some maintenance, and a very helpful staff member pointed us toward good places to eat and visit. The location right off the strip was awesome. A big downside near the end of our stay was that the pool had turned green, so we couldn’t swim.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the area is fairly quiet. Most things are an easy walk away. My only real issue was the room and beds. The room was a decent size, but the furniture was very outdated. I’ve slept in few hotel beds worse than this one, it was extremely hard, and the blankets were thin. Still, if you just need a cheap place to stay, I’d say it’s worth it.
