Quality Inn West-Branson Theatre District

The pool was advertised as accessible, but the lift for wheelchair users had been removed, and nobody seemed to know how long ago. We were also told there was a roll-in shower, but there wasn’t one. I’m a disabled amputee, and getting around was extremely difficult. Our room was cramped, barely leaving space to maneuver my chair. The bathroom was only barely compliant, and the handrails were positioned so they weren’t very useful, especially by the toilet. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place, and I’ll look for better facilities next time we’re in Branson.

The location was great, and the hot shower and breakfast with several choices were nice. The woman running the breakfast room worked hard to keep everything stocked, and I hope they appreciate her. But the facilities didn’t come close to a 4.0 rating. The vending machines were old and broken down, and there were mattresses and cigarette butts in the breezeways. Our room had cobwebs on the ceiling, and the ice bucket and fridge hadn’t been cleaned. The pool was cold despite being advertised as heated. We stayed 11/6-11/9.

The location is about the only thing I liked. We used to stay at this Quality Inn for the big hot tub, but it was closed when we got there. The website listed a heated pool and hot tub, and the Choice Hotels representative even read out “hot tub,” so I was looking forward to relaxing in it after a long day shopping and driving. Breakfast was bare bones too, with no orange juice or sweet options. I’ve been a Choice Hotels member since 2007. Maybe the board members should make surprise visits to their hotels.

I’ve stayed at the Quality Inn on the Strip several times and never took their towels or pillows, but this hotel accused me of taking three pillows, then changed the claim to include two towels. When I asked what I supposedly took, they kept giving me different answers. I should have taken pictures of the room, and that part is on me. The Quality Inn on the strip is much better, and I never had this issue there. I’m upset and have already warned locals not to stay here.
