We picked Rocky’s Retreat for a Branson trip with our three kids because the adjoining rooms gave us some space of our own while the children had theirs. One room had a king bed, the other two full beds. The kids also got a kick out of riding a dinosaur, and there’s a saltwater outdoor pool and an arcade. Keri and Tom went out of their way to make the visit enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a peaceful spot, about a mile from Silver Dollar City, a quarter mile from Indian Point Marina, and 15 minutes from The Branson Strip. The marina has a waterside restaurant and boat and jet ski rentals. We’d recommend this resort to families looking for somewhere quiet and a little off the beaten path.

Seeing a t-rex skeleton at the hotel was amazing, and the dino greeting was a blast. The owners really want you to have a wonderful visit, and we did. We’re looking forward to coming back in summer for another dino-rific experience! 🦖

The resort was confusing to navigate at first. We couldn’t find the museum or arcade, and there weren’t signs or instructions to point us toward them. Nobody was around initially, and when we called, we were told someone would call back, but nobody did. That was disappointing. Once we finally connected with the staff, things improved. They’re really friendly, and we’re pretty happy with the place now.
