The breakfast was fresh and had lots of variety. The woman preparing it went out of her way for everyone, offering to clean up and make waffles, and they even had sugar-free syrups and sugars. Of all the hotels we’ve stayed at in Branson, this has been our best experience for service and stay. I’d definitely recommend it.

We’ve stayed here five times in the last six months and already booked another visit. The staff are great, the beds comfortable, and the rooms clean and nice. The location is excellent, about 5-10 minutes from the main attractions and 15 minutes from Silver Dollar City.

The friendly, courteous staff and pretty good breakfast helped, but I’d rate this closer to two stars than three. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, yet the building still feels old despite some fresh paint. The furniture looked dated and flimsy, and the small bathroom had paint peeling from the walls. There was also a strong smell of smoke by the rear entrance, unpleasant to pass through with kids. The place needs more extensive renovations.

We traveled nearly four hours for a concert on 08/29-08/30 because the reviews made this place sound promising. The room was clean, and the older woman who checked us into room 123 that afternoon was very kind. We returned around 1 AM, and sometime during the night the vent above the toilet began leaking. I didn’t think much of it when I used the bathroom, but before checkout the next morning, yellow liquid leaked onto me while I was using it again. I was disgusted. The shower also wouldn’t drain. At checkout I raised this with a woman at the desk, who took me to the manager, John. She seemed like she might already know about the problems. John was unfriendly from the start. He blamed the clogged shower on my hair and said I’d been there a few days. I explained it was a one-night stay and that the morning had ruined the excitement I’d had for the trip. He said he couldn’t refund a third-party booking and that I’d have to contact the booking site, then added that I’d gotten a good deal so it shouldn’t matter. It matters. He offered credit, but I said I wouldn’t return and wanted a refund. He then offered 10%. When I asked for that in writing, he took me downstairs and initialed 10% on a business card. He kept saying I was wrong to book the ADA room, though the hotel listing hadn’t specified that, or I hadn’t seen it. I told him I might have a disability he couldn’t see, and he didn’t know who I had in the car. He kept going on about how I shouldn’t have booked it, and became more hostile. I asked his name, left, and contacted hotels.com. The site later told me he couldn’t issue any refund, even though I have video of him saying otherwise and a minimal written confirmation. Do not stay in room 123. I hope you don’t have to deal with the rude, ableist manager either. Edit: I also spoke with the woman who checked us in because I wanted another manager. She said nobody who works there is named John. She was very nice and apologetic, but that doesn’t make the experience any better. I’m even more upset now that he gave me a fake name.
