THE BRANSINN Entertainment District

We spent four nights at the hotel, which was convenient to the strip and not too far from the airport for the air show. Our room was serviced only after the first night. Maybe they got too busy to reach everyone, and honestly, nobody makes their bed at home every day either. Breakfast was pretty good. It was a little too cool to use the pool, unfortunately, but we had a great stay.

This place should be shut down. Our group had 67 people, and there was never anyone at the front desk. We had to call the tour company to get someone to come. The hall carpet was filthy all three days, toilets and TVs didn't work, and we couldn't get clean towels until we reported it to the tour company. Refrigerators were broken too, including one needed by a couple for diabetic medicine. They say it's remodeled, but the walls looked like a third grader had painted them. Something was wrong with our bed's box spring, and you could fall off. Several rooms were left open when we arrived because they weren't clean, and those same rooms were still open when we checked out three days later. Filthy sheets sat in the hallway all week. The one good thing was the woman making breakfast, who was very pleasant and cooked a nice hot meal. In all my years of business travel, only the Red Roof Inn in Phoenix was as bad.

The breakfast server was the only reason I gave service a 2. The rest of the time, staff were barely available, and housekeeping skipped our room on two of the three days. We had the do-not-disturb sign up the other day because we came in late and wanted to rest, but even when we saw the cleaning supplies, they passed us by. The pool was already closed, though we wouldn't have used it anyway. This isn't usually where we'd stay; it came with our timeshare presentation, and I wouldn't return.

A really clean, charming little place, and a happy surprise for us. Breakfast was better than we expected, especially with such a delightful woman serving it.
