We stayed in room 18 for a Christmas trip to SDC and had a great visit. It’s a wonderful location if you’re going to SDC or want a quieter spot away from Branson’s noise. Text communication worked really well for us. Our room was clean, updated, and comfortable, with an amazing bed, a mini fridge with freezer, a microwave, and a useful cabinet for keeping bags out of the way. We DoorDashed IHOP, and Ozark Mountain Pizza is a local option I’d recommend if you want to go out or get delivery. The nearby general store was handy for anything else we needed. The rooms with balconies open from the front of the motor lodge, while the others are around back, set up a bit like a walkout basement. Everything is well lit, but if stairs are an issue, a balcony room means far fewer steps and a great view of the trees behind the building. One thing to know about room 18 is that the hot water heater is next to the sink. That was fine for me, but I had my kid with me, so families may want to keep it in mind. There was some light noise from the heater and AC, as well as the lights along the back walkway, but we managed fine. If light noise bothers you, I’d suggest a balcony room. We’re thinking of making this an annual trip, and I’d absolutely stay here again.

I paid for three nights but left after one. The first rooms we booked were dirty. I contacted the property and was allowed to switch, but I had to check several rooms before finding one that was even somewhat clean. I’d inspect your room carefully when you arrive. Under the beds was dirt, and nearly every mattress protector we saw had urine stains. The cleaning was poor. If cleanliness improves, it could be a decent place to stay, and it’s close to Silver Dollar City. In response to the owner: You did move me to two other rooms, but further inspection showed the same dirt under the beds and urine stains on the mattress covers. I felt I had no choice but to accept things as they were. There were old tags in the trash cans, used floss picks in dresser drawers, and a ridiculous odor coming from the plastic garbage cans. The rooms were very dusty, and I have a dust allergy and asthmatic children. My family had to take children’s Benadryl and use albuterol. We stayed one night and left. The website hadn’t mentioned that your family cat roams the grounds. I only learned about that in a welcome text, and Pickles followed us as we moved our belongings to another room. You gave us codes to check three more rooms. After looking at five rooms total, cleanliness was still going to be a problem. We were more than four hours from home and had nowhere else to go. The rooms were ridiculously unclean. From reading other reviews, it seems clear you don’t listen to customers or care about cleanliness.

We had an excellent stay and will be back. The location was great for visiting Silver Dollar City, and you can hear the train from the property. Our room was surprisingly spacious and very clean, with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The mints on the nightstands were a nice little touch. Thanks!

We used this place to meet up with family who had a house at Table Rock, so the location worked great. There’s a grocery store right next door with food and drinks, and the parking lot is brand new and painted. The rooms were very nice, with good blankets and pillows, and the virtual check-in was great. I had a couple of things to flag for management, and they responded right away. My main complaint was the mattresses: they were too soft and hot to sleep on.

We loved the clean room and comfy bed, and getting to Silver Dollar City was easy since it’s so close. Pickles the cat was a sweet, adorable host, greeting us whenever we left and came back. 10/10 service. I hope the owners give Pickles extra treats for all that hard work. We’d love to stay here again!
