Westgate Branson Woods Resort and Cabins

Our standard two-queen room was in one of the separate lodges and felt like a motel room. The decor was dated, which I could accept, but it was dirty from the moment we checked in. Westgate Branson woods resort only cleans rooms at the end of the stay. That policy would be fine if the room started out clean. There were food crumbs all around the bed edges, and the bathroom floor turned the floormat black. I specifically asked them to clean both the bedroom and bathroom floors, but they only did the bedroom. The bathroom floor and dirty mat were untouched. When I asked again the next morning because the job was still unsatisfactory, they pushed back, saying they don’t clean during a stay. Since the floors stayed dirty, our sheets stayed dirty too after we walked around and got into bed. I watched them clean the room next door after checkout, and it took about five minutes. I wouldn’t recommend this place. They clearly don’t value cleanliness.

The location is great, close to shopping and restaurants, and the grounds are well kept. I also like having the marketplace on site, though I think the prices are a bit high. The gate staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome, and check-in and checkout are both easy. We haven’t had too much pressure to book a timeshare presentation, either. We listened to one once but didn’t buy; the representative was respectful when I declined. We’ve stayed here several times over the years, and I enjoy the rooms. The ones we’ve had were updated in recent years, with vinyl or laminate floors, newer furniture, and fresh decor. Overall our last room was very clean, though the shower could have been cleaned better. Staff have been friendly and helpful whenever we needed them.

This was our second stay at Branson Woods Resort, and we’ll definitely be back. The resort is clean and well maintained, and the rooms seem to look out over trees and hills. At check-in, we learned our travel company had booked a different room from the one we’d had last year and thought we’d reserved. Kaitlyn immediately helped us sort it out, without fuss or hassle. Every step went smoothly and professionally, and it was such a relief to have someone solve the problem instead of saying they couldn’t help. The staff are all super nice and helpful.

There’s so much to do here that you hardly need to leave, with mini golf, bowling, an arcade, pools, and plenty more. The jetted tubs are the biggest I’ve ever seen 😍. I’ll be bringing the whole family back!
