There’s lots of comfortable shared space around the house, and the rooms are lovely, with very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, towels, and excellent showers. The free breakfast was amazing, too. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. 1868 Crosby house is a wonderful bed and breakfast, and I’d highly recommend it.

Maria made our stay feel special. She was warm and friendly without overdoing it, and made an incredible breakfast, including French toast made with croissants. Before we even realized there was ice on the car, she was outside scraping it off in the rain. What an amazing little bed and breakfast, and a great experience.

The breakfasts each morning were incredible, and Lynn and Maria made us feel especially welcome. Ask Lynn about the beautiful staircase. We also enjoyed the hiking trails behind the property. The rooms were roomy, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished, and the Crosby House sits on lovely grounds close to the town center. It was hard to leave this charming B&B.

Our room was warm and cozy through the middle of winter, and the breakfasts were amazing every day. The hosts were wonderful, too. Crosby House is an inviting, quiet place, and downtown Brattleboro is an easy walk away, with lots of fun shops and good restaurants. We loved staying here and are already looking forward to coming back.

The house felt clean and welcoming, and Lynn made us an amazing breakfast the next morning. Maria was so helpful with information about the area, and after just one night I felt like she was a friend. I was sad to leave. We’d definitely stay here again if we’re nearby, and I’d recommend it to anyone.
