We found it easy to get to Breckenridge village and the ski peaks, either by taking the free shuttle from the end of the driveway or walking when the weather allowed. We spent four wonderful nights at the Allaire Timbers B&B. Jenn, Dianne, Shimmer, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating, and breakfast was included with plenty of choices. There are lots of places in the village to eat later in the day. We’d recommend staying here to friends and family. Thanks for the memories, and hopefully we’ll see you again soon. Jan & Michael

The excellent breakfast and peaceful, romantic feel were the best parts, but I wouldn’t stay again. We spent three nights in the Summit Pass Suite, supposedly their “best” room, and it felt out of date for the price. The room was small, the bathroom wasn’t full size with the sink in the room and a tiny shower, and the bed was terrible. I’d been on leave from Afghanistan and it was almost worse than the rocks I’d slept on for months. The old TV is ridiculous these days, mounted too high to watch comfortably, and you can’t see it from the jacuzzi. I’ll look elsewhere next time.
