Breckenridge Bluesky 2 Bedroom Ski In, Ski Out Condo

We’ve already picked Breck and Bluesky as our regular spot for winter trips. The room and location were perfect, and the staff were awesome. Our shuttle driver Jamon was the absolute best. We made a lot of new friends and are looking forward to staying again. Thanks!

The location right next to the Snowflake lift was ideal. It gets you on the mountain for skiing with no lines all day, though I almost don’t want to let that secret out. The facility was clean and nice for our family, and the condo suited us well. We didn’t spend much time there since we were skiing or exploring town. The in-house ski rental shop was convenient. We didn’t rent there, but they still let us valet our skis there for free, which was a great perk. The guest-only locker room was handy for storage, and we liked the hot tub and game room. The fans for white noise and portable humidifiers were thoughtful touches. The bedding was extremely heavy, and nobody slept well that first night. Vacasa brought us different blankets for the second night, though I’d suggest keeping more in the rooms for people who don’t like such heavy bedding. The parking garage is very tight, too. With a big SUV or truck, expect to squeeze into the spaces. Someone parked directly across from us during our stay, and I’m not sure we could have gotten our vehicle out. There may not be much they can do about it, but keep it in mind when choosing a rental vehicle. We’d probably come back because of the location and the quality of the property and condo.

There are free rides if you request them, groceries are close by, and it’s a great place for kids. The mountains and local food are awesome. I loved the peaceful, welcoming feel, the cute library, and the nice warm pool. The trail is only two minutes away. We had a two-bedroom, two-bath condo that was absolutely perfect. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. I highly recommend BluSky and would gladly do it again.

The manager called us the day we reported the mattress and offered to have the unit cleaned and to give us a small refund. That was the good part. The problem was that no one from management ever came to see the mattress. They sent Orkin to check for bed bugs, and there were none, but nobody came back to inspect the mattress we had to sleep on. It was never replaced or even given a proper fluid-protective cover, so the next guests may be sleeping on the same mattress. I had to wash the sheets twice because the Orkin man put them on the floor while checking for bed bugs. They came out bright white with no stains. I appreciated the manager’s quick call, but BlueSky and Vacasa didn’t actually fix the problem. We would’ve been happy with the roughly 30% refund if they’d replaced the mattress or properly covered it. Instead, they offered the discount and left us to sleep on a disgusting mattress for all six nights. Our unit 4XX was in a great spot, with a nice view of the Snowflake lift and easy access to Charter Sports on the first floor. The unit looked clean except for dust on the mantel and some scuffs on furniture, which you’d expect in a busy condo. But the king bed in the owner’s suite was where things went badly. The sheets looked dingy, though we figured they’d been cleaned and just needed replacing. We both got itchy the first night, especially my husband. We thought his shower soap might be the cause and bought different soap the next day, but the itching continued and became unbearable after another night. I removed the sheets and found period blood, pubic hair, and crushed spiders on a thin cotton mattress cover under the fitted sheet. Beneath that was a massive urine or body-fluid stain covering more than half the mattress. We contacted VACASA immediately.
