I paid $50 for day passes on 1/20/2026 and 1/21/2026 to work at StarterHaus. It was very quiet both days, with capacity around 10%, and I found the space really clean. The host, Ben, gave me a tour and knew the place well. Being shown around and having a chance to ask questions was a nice part of the pass. There’s a tiny fridge for lunch if you arrive early, plus a microwave and icemaker. The hot tubs, showers with soaps and lotions, and bathing suit dryer were all great. I thought the rate was reasonable, and there were two flavors of Nature Valley bars for snacks. The first afternoon, StarterHaus wifi was awful, so I had to use my phone as a hotspot for hours. It worked well on day two. People also take meetings in the common area despite the private soundproof pods, so it gets noisy. Some lights were out, making the space dim even near the windows. Tall buildings block the morning light, though the sun comes through in the afternoon. There was a coffee maker but no filters, creamer, milk, or sugar, just stevia. I told the host on day one, but there still weren’t any filters on day two. There is a paid coffee shop onsite with great lattes. No tea bags either, though there’s a kettle and plenty of mugs, so bring your own. The website wording made it sound like a meal or some food came with the pass, but it doesn’t. The “Fresh, all-day nourishment for adventures that don't quit” wording was confusing. There is a paid restaurant onsite. I’d definitely buy day passes again when I’m in places with a GravityHaus. Please open one in MAMMOTH LAKES next.
