The units were decent enough, and the location is good, but the building itself really needs work. I've stayed in the complex twice, and each time the dated, run-down common areas stood out. The entrance smells of old carpet, the stairs are narrow, and the units have smelly carpet too. Most windows are broken or hard to open. When I tried mine, the handle came off and fell outside. Breckenridge was lovely to look at, but this was the one ugly building I saw. It needs renovation and cleaning.

The condo has a cozy, upscale feel, with beautiful decor and a fireplace that adds a lot. The water gets really hot, too. It's right at the bottom of peak 8, so you can walk straight up to the slopes.

The scenery is lovely, but the buildings look somewhere between a run-down frat house and a crackhouse, nearly condemned. Good luck doing laundry or using any of the “amenities.”

I've stayed here many times and love it. It's in a great spot just below peak 8 on Ski Hill Road. You can cross the street to catch the bus either to the ski hill or into town.
