Having a kitchen and being able to sit by the fireplace in the evenings was handy during my work trip at Lance's West unit 11. The cleanliness was a concern, though. The bathroom sink was clogged and not very clean, and there was long hair on the carpet, so I wasn't sure it had been vacuumed after the last guests. I booked specifically because I wanted a heated pool to relax in after work and all those meetings. But in winter the pool is only open from noon to 8 p.m., and my meetings ended at 8, so I never got to use it. That was really disappointing. Pool hours should be listed before people book.

Lance's West Unit 2 was shabby and cold when I moved in, at just 55 degrees, and it took a long time to warm up. I tried a shower downstairs to get warm, but the water was only lukewarm. The carpet and couch showed visible wear. I also tried to get a copy of the final bill and couldn't.

It's a perfect place to stay, with just a short walk to the lift. Definitely recommend.
