The room was dirty, with what looked like years of dust and dirt under the bed. Water sprayed everywhere from the showerhead, and the pullout in the living room was so uncomfortable, all I could feel were the coils. For the price, those basics should be non-negotiable, especially in condo D11. I'd spend the extra $100 somewhere else and enjoy coming back after skiing. The hot tub had no towels, and getting there was hazardous, with lots of ice and no lighting. The pool was a long way offsite, and our key didn't work there. We had kids with us, and the stay was miserable. Customer service was useless: nine days later, I still hadn't received a call back about the towels. This was by far our worst experience in Breckenridge.

The village is about a 10-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants, and the apartment is also served by the free ski bus. For skiing, it makes a good base in Breckenridge. It's not quite ski-in, ski-out, but there's a short downhill walk to The Snowflake lift, with easy access to Peak 8 and Peak 9.

My mom booked the condo for this past week and noted that we needed an accessible unit on a lower level. We did get a lower-level condo, but once inside, stairs led down to the bedrooms and bathrooms. I use a walker, and my dad has a fib and gets around with a cane. She came with us.
