Ridge Motel

My family and I have stayed at the ridge for years, with reunions every 4th of July and Christmas. The previous owners were kind, nice, and understanding, so I'm disappointed after years of wonderful customer service. This owner has been unkind and without empathy toward customers, and seems selfish and black and white. There have been many other bad experiences between this owner and other family members at this hotel. In 2023, my sister asked Expedia to cancel because of an illness. Expedia contacted the owner/manager, who refused. When they called him directly, he lied and said Expedia had said no. They called Expedia back and were allowed to listen to the recorded call, where he clearly said “no” to the refund. The same thing happened Friday when car trouble forced me to turn around and go home. Expedia was willing to refund me, but the owner refused, even after I called directly to explain. In response to your comment: no, you're misrepresenting what happened. When you said it was up to Expedia to refund us, that's when I asked to change the reservation name so another family member could use it. After I spoke with you, Expedia said you had to issue the refund. They called you TWICE, and you refused. You did the same thing to my sister in 2023.
