Riverbend Lodge Unit 120 by RedAwning

The location was perfect and quiet. We never heard the neighbors during our six days, and there's a ski rental next door with the lift right beside it. Our unit had enough space for our family of five, and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed. The showers got hot and had great pressure. A few minor issues kept this at four stars: the headboard was dusty, the ice maker didn't work though there were ice trays, some blinds were broken but stuck closed, the can opener was broken, and the fridge water worked on and off, maybe because it had frozen. I was also surprised there was no heat. I may not have read closely enough, but we had to keep the fire going almost the whole time to stay comfortable. It worked out, and none of those little issues would stop us from renting here again.

The accommodations matched the description, and the place was very efficient, just steps from the Snowflake lift. There's a heated, secure garage with ski lockers, plus a lounge and ski racks on the trail to the lift. The location is what we're paying for. With a snowstorm coming, we know we're well placed to enjoy the fresh powder!

The kitchen and sleeping areas were great, and the shower had excellent pressure. The skiing-themed decor was charming and fit the lodge well. Getting in and out was easy thanks to the elevator and luggage carts, and overflow parking was a shuttle ride away. Downtown was easy to reach, and the ski lift is right next door.

We had a great three-night stay in a studio at the lodge. It was walkable to downtown and the Snowflake lift, and we'd stay again. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower had extra-strong water pressure. The studio kitchen was tiny but functional, with all the utensils we needed. It got a bit too warm at times, but cracking a window fixed that.
