Ski-in Mountain Thunder Lodge 2 Bedroom Condo

The room was roomy, attractive, and comfortable, and Kampbell and Erica really looked after us. They made the stay feel special, and we can't wait to return. Mountain Thunder Lodge is in about the best spot in Breck, with ski-in access and an easy walk out.

We’re only two nights into our week here, and we’re already very happy with the property. The rooms are lovely and it’s easy to get around from here. Kampbell at the front desk has stood out most: she’s welcoming, personable, and professional, and has given us useful tips to make the stay more enjoyable. She’s been great with customer service.

The rooms have plenty of space, but the cleaning has been awful. Furniture was dusty, and the floors were so dirty that I had to wipe everything down myself. Under the beds was especially bad. If you reach for something there, you’ll come away covered in dust. The cleaners seem to spray strong, foul-smelling chemicals without actually dusting, vacuuming, or mopping. When I asked the front desk to have the floors mopped, someone came with more of that chemical. I asked for plain water instead. It makes me wonder how well the sheets and towels are cleaned when basic hygiene seems to be ignored.

After a long day skiing, the pool and hot tub were just right. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, great bathrooms, and humidifiers in the bedrooms, which helped with adjusting to the altitude. The rooms were fantastic. We got an upgrade and early check-in after driving from Denver, and the location made things easy: the bus stop is just outside the gate, the gondola is five minutes away, there’s ski-in access, and underground parking. We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Thunder Lodge and are already planning another trip.
