We were a family of four skiing with visitors, staying April 4th to 11th in a three-bedroom unit on the fourth floor. It didn’t have a private hot tub. We traded our RCI two-bedroom for this and got upgraded to three bedrooms. We chose the place for the Quicksilver Super Chair, but it was closed because of historically low snow and high temperatures. Only Peak 8 was open during our visit. The shuttle to Peak 8’s gondola was excellent. We called while heading down, and with different drivers we never waited more than five minutes. We didn’t use the town shuttle since Main Street is such a short walk, though other guests did. The room was clean, comfortable, and free of musty smells. The beds were good, the washer and dryer worked well, and there were useful extras like a laundry basket. The kitchen had a gas stove, electric kettle, blender, coffee maker, and toaster, though I wished there were larger frying pans. We got maid service midweek. Front desk staff were friendly and checked in by text several times. I liked the lobby art and decor, especially the two-story stone fireplace. There were also community grills and a small playground among the trees beside the building. Getting luggage up was easy thanks to the elevators from the garage to the floors. The lobby ski check was handy, though we only used it once because we drove to other mountains a lot. Lobby coffee was nice too. The three large on-site hot tubs were clean and hot, with towels provided, but the low deck ceilings made getting in a little awkward. The pool and hot tubs across the driveway, about 50 yards away, were clean, hot, and spacious. The pool is outdoors, with just a small part, about 16 square feet, covered by the building overhang. That setup makes the shallow end awkward to use from outside, and nobody was swimming in that covered patch. The pool was the only disappointing facility, though it was heated and we still used it. The robes in the unit were nice for walking over. It wasn’t busy, so they gave us an extra garage parking pass for our visitors. I can see parking getting tight when the garage is full. Keystone and Vail were also convenient for skiing, about 25 and 40 minutes away on dry roads. We’d come back and hope for a better ski season.

The location worked beautifully for us, with an easy walk to downtown and Beaver Run. The shuttle was convenient, and the driver was consistently friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay overall, but expected more for the price. Cleanliness was a letdown: there was hair in the showers and dirt and grime in the tubs. The property also seemed neglected, and it feels like it needs some work after at least the last decade. Over the five days we were there, I called several times with questions and never got anyone to answer the phone. Some of the rules felt strange. We couldn’t use a bell cart unless we paid for a bellhop, even when just changing rooms. The women at the front desk weren’t very accommodating or friendly, and their replies often sounded like our questions were a burden. For the rate, we expected basics like a cart to move things between floors and the cleanliness you’d expect from a private Hilton residence.

We’ve owned a timeshare here for over 20 years and come every year, mostly because we’ve always liked the location, amenities, and unit layouts. Those things are still positives, especially the indoor/outdoor pool. After checking in last night, though, we found several problems in our unit: stained sheets, some broken or unstable items, mold and peeling caulk in the shower, dirty shower curtains, and other general cleanliness concerns. The TV and internet were also inconsistent. These issues are making this visit less comfortable than in past years. As longtime owners, I wanted to pass this along in the hope it helps with future maintenance and improvements. Thanks for taking the time to consider our feedback.

The little conveniences really made the trip easier. We could use the ski check, and the shuttle took us to the lifts at 8am and to restaurants later in the day. There are also several hot tubs on site, with complimentary towels.

Having ski rentals right at the property was so convenient, and the shuttle ride to the base took less than five minutes each morning. We always have a nice time here.
